Focus is a precise science, there are so many technical ways to break it down, but to keep it stupidly simple, you either do it or you don’t. There is no halfway or 25% focus measurement. You get that focus laser tight and locked in on your target, no half assing this one. When you got that focus dialed in, you need to be sure you have the right thing in your sights. That thing is the outcome, or the goal you will achieve. Don’t, and I repeat don’t waste any energy or time on the problems or obstacles that will inevitably arise along the way to your promised land of victory.
The outcome is the only option here. All the crap that bubbles up along the way is meaningless to your goal. The petty stuff needs to be dealt with, yes of course, but with swift efficiency. The more you have the positive and desired effect in mind, the better your processes will be to get to that spot. You create the situations you will face and that focus that’s guiding you is a surefire indicator of the direction you will be going. Always get there and always do it with confidence and pride.
Never give in when the times are tough, never give up when the roadblocks pop up, never think something is insurmountable. Always be on the lookout for that path to drive home the deal and to get to the top of Shangri La and declare a FLAWLESS VICTORY!

It's the power of positive focused intention, @sandstorm. If we keep the objective firmly in mind, the obstacles along the way will really seem quite minor... and sometimes even move out of the way more or less by themselves... it's something we practice quite a bit around our house!
