So when you are done with making the decision the rest is just to stick to that.

Very nice. When I am faced with a difficult decision I try and look at what would be the worst outcome, and then what would be the best outcome. If I can live with the worst possible outcome then the decision is easy. If I cannot I know that usually the result ends up somewhere between the worst and best possible outcome.
