Teri Pratchett undoubtedly is one of the most famous names in modern world literature. The British writer is the most popular and beloved of his series of comic fantasy novels for the World of Disc, which has so far been released in over 60 million copies and translated into more than 40 languages.
Pratchett is the second most authoritative author in the UK and the seventh most notorious non-American author in the United States. In 2001 he won the Carnegie Medal for his novel, "The Amazing Maurice and Its Educated Rodents."
He has been an officer of the 1998 British Empire and Knight-Bachelor since 2009 for his contribution to literature.
Terry Pratchett died three years ago after a long fight with Alzheimer, but his wise words will remain forever in the world of literature, and not only.
Today we suggest that you recall some of the author's most inspiring quotes.
"Give a man a fire, and he will be warm for a day. It burns a fire in it and will burn for the rest of its life. "
"Some human beings will do everything to see if something can happen. If we put a big key somewhere in a cave and write to it "Key-to-End-of-the-World. PLEASE DO NOT KNOW "the paint will not even have time to dry".
"Wisdom comes with experience. Experience is often the result of a lack of wisdom. "
"Always choose a bigger enemy. It's easier to hit. "
"And what would people be without love? - "ROYALTY", answered Death.
"Time is a drug, kills in large doses."
"Every war in human history always ends with exactly the same result: crows - 1000 points, people - 0 points."

Nice information with some good lessons for life. Life is a very complex thing we cannot be sure whether one thing is good for us or not till we don't have examples or we do not try it. But if we read great books, we can enhance our knowledge to such a degree that we don't need to experience the things ourselves. This is the importance of good books in our life.
