What Witnesses- Witness We Support... And Why!

The witnesses are the computers of the Steem network whose job is to create "blocks" and add them to the blockage Steem and also store the complete data of the block box. These blocks contain information on publications, comments, votes and currency transfers.
The Steem Block chain requires a set of people to create blocks and uses a consensus mechanism called delegated participation test or DPOS.
The community chooses "witnesses" to act as block producers and governing body of the network.
