This past Monday, Blue Origin corporate announced that William Shatner, the actor who immortalized the remembered character in the original Star Trek series, will be part of the next voyage of the company founded by Jeff Bezos.
The actor, now 90 years old, will be part of the New Shepard NS-18 voyage along with Audrey Powers, Origin's vice president of Mission and Flight Operations, and the crew of Chris Boshuizen and Glen de Vries.
I have heard about the space for a long time. I'll take the opportunity to see it for myself. What a miracle.

In addition to playing Captain Kirk in the original Star Trek series, Shatner has participated in several film and television productions. In fact, he is currently a producer and host of The History Channel's The UnXplained.
This Blue Origin mission is scheduled for liftoff on October 12 and Shatner and company are expected to enjoy a suborbital flight of more than 10 minutes.
