From Doggerel to Censorship: The Oregonian's Dubious Dance with Dilbert Creator Scott Adams

The Importance of Defending Scott Adams' Views Against Misrepresentation:

It's always important to defend the truth, and in this case, it means coming to the defense of Scott Adams. As you may recall, he is the maker of the world famous cartoon, Dilbert, which is very respectful, and absolutely nothing like those disrespectful Charlie Hebdo cartoons. Charlie Hebdo's cartoons were clearly hateful, yet the American Fake News Media Journalists came to their defense, did they not?

Scott Adams is nothing of the sort, and ad hominem attack on his character are crimes. The facile straw man attacks on his character are also crimes. Recent comments made by The Oregonian, considered a tumor by people who actually live in Oregon, suggest that Adams' views are indefensible, but it's crucial to examine the facts before jumping to conclusions. Gone are the days the media has the power to choose who is censored, because all that will happen is more people will cancel their subscriptions to The Oregonian, or never subscribe to begin with. Surely these fake news papers are ever closer to going out of business anyway, because they have been misleading our people for years.

Here is the original video, and the section he was attacked over begins at about 13:30:

Here is a link to what The Oregonian said so you can see for yourself:

First, it's worth noting that The Oregonian has a reputation for being a liberal news outlet, which may influence their radical left wing reporting. However, this doesn't mean that we should automatically dismiss everything they say. Instead, let's examine the facts and draw our own conclusions. Obviously The Oregonian is factually wrong, because apparently they did not even watch the video before publishing this letter, and the letter says Scott Adam's views are indefensible, which is also wrong, because I am clearly defending his views right here, right now, to prove The Oregonian incorrect again. If you are an Oregonian as well, who subscribes to The Oregonian Newspaper, please cancel your subscription. It is the right thing to do.

Upon reviewing the video in question, it becomes clear that The Oregonian took Scott Adams' words out of context, in order to make him appear in a negative light. This is an unfortunate tactic, known as an ad hominem attack, or a straw man attack, is one that we see all too often in modern fake news journalism. It is important to point out that this is not their logical fallacy, but a logical fallacy the newspaper is hoping the readers will make, and naively believe them. This reader is not buying it, and most Americans, certainly most Oregonians, are not that stupid. However, as informed readers, it's up to us to call out this kind of corrupt behavior and set the record straight. As Americans, we must fight against the tumor of fake news. Never trust a journalist, even if it's your mother.

By defending Scott Adams' views against these kinds of disgusting misrepresentations, we're not only standing up for the truth, but also educating our communities to never trust a journalist. Let's use our voices to speak out against these kinds of immoral misrepresentations and continue to promote a culture of open, honest, and respectful discourse, free of journalists, journalism, and fake news.

Scott Adams defending himself:

Good people must hold cancerous journalists, and viral fake-newspapers accountable for what they say, because they are responsible for misinformation, disinformation, fake news, and race baiting which is a pathogenic tumor against humanity.
