BlackKKlansman - CinemaBUn Film Suggestion

Fantastic!!!

Big Spike Lee fan!!

And at 60 years of age, he continues to make top-notch material.

A true and insane story, of a police black guy who infiltrated the KKK in the '70s.

I liked the film language he used and I liked what the movie had to say. It would be easy to be a bit subjective when dealing with such topics. Especially in today's day and age.

But it's not... the approach is quite objective in both sides of the racial fence.

A period film that is very current. It shows how all this race talk we have is a bit pointless and how people should stand together, despite external influences.

Spike fan, but for this one I was truly kinda worried... that it would add more wood to the (anti-white) fire. But it only does for things it should... and those things are obviously race-neutral.

Great movie.

As always, thank you for reading.

I would be exaggerating if I said I were a fan of Spike Lee but he has definitely been an important figure in world cinema and I like some of his movies. I heard good things about BlacKKKlansman and was looking forward to watching it.

After reading your review, I'm even more interested.

Bom domingo!

This one is one of his top films. The level of comedy mixed with serious issues, true story... everything is quite something.
