I was shocked when i saw on the news today a man crying out for help because he's being humiliated in his environment just because he's black. And i said to myself "does this still happen."? I thought the world had become more civilize for humans to know that we are all the same except for the skin color.
If we truly believe that all men are made in God's image, then i wonder why some people do continue to acknowledge only what is in their part of the mirror.
If every man was created equal and in the image of God, then how can any man claim that one race is better than another?
Hating a fellow human because of their color is wrong. It doesn't matter which color does the hating. It's just plain wrong.
One of the greatest gift any human can give another, is life. Taking away another man's life is the greatest sin in life a man can do to another. Nevertheless, any rule in this world,be it political, believes and religion, they are all secondary.
I only wish racism and prejudice were only distant memories. We must all learn to dissent from the indifference, Dissent from the apathy. We must dissent from the fear, the hatred and the mistrust…We must dissent because human can all do better
WHAT IS RACISM ?
source
Racism is just a mere belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another, that a person’s social and moral traits are predetermined by his or her inborn biological characteristics.
May also be defined as the hatred of one person by another — or the belief that another person is less than human — because of skin color, language, customs, place of birth or any factor that supposedly reveals the basic nature of that person.
RACISM AFFECTING OUR EVERYDAY LIFE
These words "racism" and "discrimination" has been a powerful weapon used in encouraging fear or hatred of others in times of conflict and war, and even during economic downturns.
Racism has been one of the most important social issues of the modern world, It has affected millions of people worldwide, And has been one of the deepest social problems in history which has caused countless problems. It has influenced wars, slavery, the formation of nations, and legal codes.
SOCIAL LIFE
Racism have really affected our social life today, A black kid who goes to a white school or a white kid who goes to a black school, finds it very hard to coup and interact, They sometime become victims of bullying. In the offices they get neglected and treated like they don't deserve to be at a particular position.
I read an article online the other day that >Uber Technologies in Boston canceled rides for men with black-sounding names more than twice as often for other men, Black people in Seattle using Uber and Lyft Inc faced notably longer wait times to get paired with drivers than white customers.
And that is pure racism. And i keep wondering why an individual would see his or herself as a racist when you definitely can't do without black or white, you see a white man coming into the store to buy a black toy or gadgets and a black man getting white, but they all claim to hate these colors on skin.
It makes no difference who or what you are,old or young, black or white
As far as i'm concern, “Achievement has no color” Being a white skin or black doesn't make u rich or make life an easy one for you,
Poverty is everyone's problem. It cuts across any line you can name: age, race, social, geographic or religious.Whether you are black or white, rich, middle-class or poor, we are ALL touched by poverty.
I don't see where it matters if a cat is black or white,so long as it catches mice.
SAY NO TO RACISM
source
It's time we start seeing black and white as colors of photography, Because that symbolize the alternatives of hope and despair to which mankind is forever subjected.
Life is not all about what you can do for your country, but what you can do for all of mankind
In fighting and ending racism, we must fight it everywhere it lives and thrives.
we have to confront it ourselves, in our society, communities and nation.
Nobody can do it all alone, but we can all do things to help.
Lets work collectively to end racism.
