digital music is so convenient and we all listen to it, but by comparison vinyl touches us in ways digital music never can. analogue sound can evoke so much emotion, wake our senses and open up new worlds.
I know, I'm an oldie too, but we sold our albums (fabulous late 60s and 70s collection) since we have everything on the computer. We got a terrible price- rather sad, but we just were not going to cart around 500 albums anymore.
looks like you let go some valuable memories, what's old is new again, and it's great to see back catalogues getting re issued on vinyl, and some defunct record labels whose libraries have been purchased by new companies, who then re publish what was until recently potentially lost forever. Vinyl analogue sound just lights up everything.
