Hey Jessies

Rage quitting has been quite the topic of late but you know what? I'm not fucking leaving, this is my home.

They will need a wrecking ball to take me out of here. They will need to send in the army or the national guard because I ain't going nowhere.

So If I'm not leaving what am I doing? I'm using Steemit to find info I like, interact with new peeps and post my garbage thoughts online like every millennial.

That's what I get out of it, thats what I enjoy about the site.

STEEM is only 3 years in and yes the site sucks granny tits, we know this I'm the first to admit it and I'd love to improve it if I can help but I want you all to think about what other social media sites looked like 3 years in.

Earned STEEM vs Purchased STEEM

Ever since I've been using steemit there have been people complaining about it. Most of the grevienaces are primarily focused on the price and the rewards that and to that I say your arguments are pointless and waste of time.

All they are is a negative advertisement for the platform due to a naive mindset.

If you never invested in STEEM and if you're selling your STEEM you've earned you have no right to complain about rewards or price. I realise this is what the platform may have promised you but its not the case at the moment.

What you should be doing

We're not big enough to sustain a large amount of people living on their earnings. SUre if we had a million active users and 300 000k minnows all holding 500 SP or more it may be a different story and if you want to live off steem you have a duty to either bring in investors and users or hold as much steem as possible.

Not complain on rant posts, if you're not onboarding or holding, STFU.

When someone says shit about the steem price or rewards but doesn't buy and sells earned steem

I am at this point where I'm so annoyed by these authors who post only to sell that I feel that earned SP should be treated differently to purchased SP. In fact I feel like you can only power down SP you purchase and not SP you earn until we reach a sustainable ecosystem.

You know what? So Do I and if you don't like the way your content is rewarded, don't post on this site. Take your shit to medium, tumblr or create your own blog and see if anyone gives 2 cents worth of fucks to reward your content.

See if you can make money from publishing ads or convincing brands or selling affiliate links in your content. Go for it!

    I like your enthusiasm for steem and there are times I feel the same. But we shouldn't let our familiarity with the platform cloud our more objective faculties.

    I’m not saying don’t critique I’m not saying don’t provide objective views but if all you going to do is say things are bad then what’s the point! Provide an alternative if no one likes your alternative at least you tried, rally those around you and take action! Pointing fingers and playing the blame game is not constructive

    If you don’t like the game these people should leave and find a place that does welcome them simple as that

      I'm of the mindset that Steem needs people who build up, rather than tear down. As we build, we grow. And that growth will bring in more people who also will want to build.

          Crazy enough... people seem to think there is this large group of highly paid individuals that are solely here to fix all the things that people bitch about.. and I know this is going to be a shock and quite painful, but there isn’t. It’s up to us.

            Lol Thanks @llfarms. Who said you can't make a point with humour, in fact I feel its the best way to get your point across sometimes.

            I understand they have been indoctrinated to think that there's always some big daddy spoon feeding us and it takes a bit of a mind shift. Unfortunately you'll need a bit of altruism to do so, since your efforts benefit others and its all for the greater good and really who wants to do that when we're all in ti for ourselves.

            As long as we retain the culture of decentralisation we will attract those who like it, convert those who understand it and well those who don't we didn't really need them and they can use traditional big brother networks.
