Esta belleza es una ranita "flecha amarilla" habita en las selvas de Venezuela es pequeñita mide entre 31-39 mm y es de colores vivos para advertir a sus depredadores que es venenosa. también existen de color naranja, se alimentan de insectos pequeños como hormigas, termitas, arañas pequeñas, moscas de fruta. las podrán observar en una hoja cercanas a los ríos, les dicen rana flechas debido a que los indígenas rozan sus flechas con esta rana para impregnarlas de veneno y así conseguir que sus presas caigan inconscientes. a mi me parecen super lindas pero tenemos que respetarlas y evitar que sigan desapareciendo creando conciencia en los lugareños que viven cerca de la selva a no invadir su habitad y proteger el ambiente de contaminación ya que son muy sensibles a esto. Su nombre científico es (Dendrobates leucomelas)
