Western South Dakota has seen some warmer than usual weather conditions after the initial blast of cold air that swept the nation.
We decided to take advantage of the warm condiditions by working on fence line

We weren’t sure if we could drive posts or not but decided to give it a try.
We found the Frost to be only a couple of inches deep.
Normally it would be a couple of feet deep this time of year. We drove all the steel posts for the next pasture.
Tomorrow the plan is to take the tractor out and auger in the corner posts. The temp is supposed to fall to - 2 f on Sunday evening, so this could be our last chance till April.

The livestock is doing well. All of the cattle and the horses were enjoying the warm spell.
