Musicals always freak me out. I find them weird and arrogant.
Who sings while bagging groceries? Right in the middle of a normal day. Normal conversations happening. Then everyone is just singing. Why?
I have no idea if there has ever been a scene like that in a musical but honestly, I'm pretty certain that one exists. I just got a feeling. Weird.
Musicals are the biggest attempt at flexing on both actors and musicians. Do you want to be an album or a movie? Oh you wanna do both, cool.
