Honestly I don't want to click on another web page outside of Steemit to review anyone. I will tell them to their face in the comments. I will upvote their posts if I like them.

They do this review for professors in colleges and even for teachers. It can be a biased review. I don't know the details of your program but those are my first impressions. I saw the label around. Community initiatives don't work as well as they used to.

Basically people like to do things that are fun and rewarding and super simple.

Good luck:)

Have you looked at it? It IS on steemit lol It's just a post with some details about a person...But I hear ya.

Basically people like to do things that are fun and rewarding and super simple.

Like getting paid in Steem Dollars for reviews? That sounded good to me. And I enjoyed reading about people and have more trust for those that did create a profile because I could learn about them in more details. And it's simpler than simple, if you saw it. trust me :D

OK. But those banners actually scare me.

LOL! Noted :) They are kinda creepy, aren't they. hahaha See, no one mentioned this to me before but I had a feeling!

I read these two posts:

https://steemit.com/reviewme/@reviewme/how-to-create-your-very-own-reviewme-page-start-earning-credibility-stars-get-reviewed-by-steemians

https://steemit.com/reviewme/@reviewme/your-reputation-on-steemit-should-be-rewarded-earn-sbd-with-your-reviewme-profile-41dd9704cbff7

I didn't know you back then. If I did I would have made a review post. Still the second post was a little confusing. I couldn't get how they are trading the review points for SBD.

I love the idea of @reviewme and made my own. However, either it wasnt clear on a couple of points or i missed it (i Probably did lol):

  • i wasnt aware you could trade your stars for sbd and how to do this?
  • how do you track how many stars you have?
  • i didnt know about the banner either

As i said i love the idea as the rep score on here means nothing anymore!

Maybe it just needs some tweaking and fine tuning 😃

I like what you were trying to do, but it's kinda hard to "trust" the reviews, if like you said, almost everyone gets a 5-star review.

It's not really about trusting per se....It's about getting to know the people based on what they share and then making your own mind up about them - which still works better than replying on steemit's "robot" algorithm "reputation score".

Yeah i agree i found some cool profiles on there that i wouldnt have found otherwise!

Most people don't read the post they are reviewing they will give a vote or small comment and move on to the next one. Of coarse you have a large group that have auto vote and trails they do.

Even the contest are becoming a single picture or a one liner.

It's a steemit problem and it's spreading its sickness across every project that people create out there - not just @reviewme

No te rindas @kaliju tal vez todavia @reviewme no ha tenido el apoyo necesario pero es una iniciativa que nos ayuda a todos dentro de Steemit. Saludos y mucha fuerza

Dear sir good morning from India, sorry to see your great initiative is not making hype although it's brilliant idea, sir I did some mistakes on my @reviewme post due to lack of the coding knowledge but it's great to use your message footer message when we comment to someone or any whale.
I have a suggestion maybe it's worthless because it's the main theme of this initiative but I found some people don't care what is the criteria or theme, if we choose the review on positive comments as people feel tricky on pasting star code
maybe it will work and also make a post for how to redeem and trade the points you provided to the winners.
If I use the footer message is it okay or we should make our own footer so we can spread it with our every message.
Good day dear sir.

@reviewme is that your another account?

That's exactly what I mean, even though it's right there, yellow as the blinding sun, in my signature, no one clicks on it to learn more about it. Yes, that's my account.

Like meme :)

The meme is great 👏👏👏

Yes, very cool and entertaining :)

No it won't die just like that. Trust me it's about word of mouth. I'm planning something, and it's going to be just as crazy as sending you medical support few weeks ago from the Chinese community.

No claim of SBD, simply because we're aware it was came from your pocket. We need to make it an ecocycle. Where it came from goes back to where. Let's think of a way that the system will generate revenue and it pays the reward instead.

Leaving anything less than 5 star? Why not put it this way, in order to get 100stars, 1 can ask their friends for support. Each who leave a 5 stars gets 1 upvote from me, and I I'll return favor when you start your reviewme profile. Fair enough? In the end, both mutually benefited from the system. And the only person whose got a backfire is @kaliju.

Do I sound like an asshole? I realize that, yeah I do sounded like an asshole. But at least I'm honest. Let's sit back and find a better idea to overcome this. I care about the project, and I certainly worried if we got carried away.

I will discord you when I have a better idea of how to further improve this and I can easily bring in another 100? 200 Early adopters? I am definitely with you. I did put in few sleepless night to curate new profile few weeks ago.

Very nice post brother @kaliju
I love this post, hopefully my friend is willing to help me.

I am a little wary of the star concept for a lot of things. Take uber. The guy gets you to the place on time and in one piece. That is what they're supposed to do? That should be 3 stars, service completed, no plus no minus. Average. But if you give anything less than 5 stars they will be pissed.

5 stars should be exceptional, not average. A lot of game and film reviews suffer the same problems. Anything less than 80 is a disaster.

The reciew concept is good (comments on the review post), but I'm not sure about the rating system.
