FINALE: #RandomThings No. 1 - What Can You Create From A Few Random Objects?

in randomthings •  6 years ago  (edited)

I put out a challenge to inspire creative minds capable of turning #randomthings into something new of value.

It's always great to stretch our imaginations,
which makes us better problem solvers and
more capable of thinking out of the box.

Here is the first invitation.

It seems that we have quite the talent here on Steemit in this regard,
so I'd like to share with you the creations they came up with.
Even one of our young Artists in Bloom participants gave us a real treat for the eyes.

CreatE YouR RealitY wearable art by @anutu

Ring made of antique, broken watch parts and findings.

With some fantasy and the power of imagination this ring tells a little story:
Put it on your finger.
Turn the little wheel on top.MAKE A WISH
Wake up in your reality with your wish fulfilled.
This is why I called it: CreatE YouR RealitY Enjoy:)

The Path of Transformation also by @anutu

Cast a light art made with fiberglass, wire and light

life - the path of transformation - leaving old and no longer wanted memes behind - get to the source - collect a fresh breeze - create - leave your cover - cast a light

Reagents for a Love Spell by @phillyc

Created from nature!

Varied in colour
In Texture and stage
Age matters not
For the Wizard and MageSome materials rough
Some well worn away
What will we have left
At the end of the day?Who brings the fire
Which boils the pot?
I throw in these things
As I cast my own lotThe science of chance
And the essence of pain
When the heart is renewed
We are one in the same

The Pleasure of Smoking by @jlufer

Made with an unused Motor Piston

It is totally possible to create sustainable art, do things without spending money, reuse the materials already discarded and reuse them in the creation of our Art

Designer Pen Stand by DrawingQueen - presented by her father @steemflow

Spare CD decorated with bits of mirror, topped with spare bangles pasted together
(readily available at every Indian Home), decorated with a ribbon ( from a  gift box),
and some designer material from her Art Box.

What you do with some random useless things kept in your home ???
Either you throw them away or scrapped.

However, if you see through an Artistic angle,
there are many beautiful things can be created from them.
Just a need a magical touch to make something fantastic, I have learned this from my little #drawingqueen.

DrawingQueen participates in the #ArtistsInBloom initiative where she shared
another one of her sustainable creations--a girl after my own heart!!
I'd like to share that one here too.

Elegant Designer Pot also by DrawingQueen, presented by @steemflow

An idle plain clay pot, hand painted then decorated with
handmade cut and curled paper roses and a spare feather.

The art on the Pot makes it valuable enough to place in your drawing hall or in your office table.
It adds beauty to your personal spaces.

I love how inspiration seems to come out of thin air,
and those open to the possibilities are able to turn it into a reality.

Thank you for joining me in seeing the creative mind put to the test,
and for #randomthings put to new purpose.

Perhaps we'll play again.  Check back for Invitation No. 2
