First Method; In our WordPress blog admin panel Extensions located tabs under the new Add in part to Rank SEO Mather they search form, click the Upload button in the Math result Rankin Just below the SEO plugin, you can finish the installation after enabling plug-in installed.

Second Method; By going to this address , after downloading Rank Math SEO file and removing it from RAR by uploading it to your site's wp-content / plugins folder with the help of an FTP (Recommendation; Filezilla) program, you can go back to the administration panel and end the installation by activating the plug-in from the Add-Ins tab.

After completing the installation of the plugin and activating it , a tab in the form of Rank Math occurs in our management panel . Let's start making our settings by entering this tab.

With the help of the Setup Wizard, you can import all the settings in the SEO plugin you used earlier.

Activate all features on the Dashboard display.

General Settings

Links Tab

Strip Category Base; Removes the category tag from your URL structure . It must be in ON position.

If you are making these settings for an old site, you will need to add the following code to the .htaccess file for redirects after saving the Strip Category Base setting to ON .

Nofollow Image File Links; Automatically nofollow the external media files you use in the article. Prevents link output. It is recommended to stay ON .

Nofollow Domains / Nofollow Exclude Domains; This is the section where you will type pages to allow URL exit.

Images Tab

Add missing ALT attributes; Automatically adds an ALT header to your images.

Add missing TITLE attributes; Automatically adds captions to your pictures.

If you are not a new WordPress user , it will be better for you to leave the settings in this section OFF , because it is better for you to determine the subtitle and title of the pictures you add.

If you are just starting to use WordPress and are learning new SEO, you can set both settings to ON .

If you have verified your site in the Setup wizard, you can skip this section. If you haven't done the verification, just take your verification code from the Search Console Verification Page and paste it into the space.

Edit robots.txt Tab

In this tab , you can edit your existing robots.txt file or you can create it.

Edit .htaccess Tab

You can edit your existing .htaccess file in this tab. If you're not a professional, we recommend not touching.

Search Console Tab

In this section you can see your site information, errors, and unreachable URLs that we previously verified with Google Search Console.

Titles & Meta Settings

In this section, we will look at the title and description settings of our site, what we will open to the index and what we will close to the index.

Global Meta Tab

Rank Math SEO Settings

Robots Meta; Leave it blank.

Noindex Empty Category and Tag Archives; Prevents your empty categories and tags from indexing. Set to ON .

Separator Character; You can choose the one you like best.

Capitalize Titles; Makes the first letter of all your titles larger. You can turn it on or off.

OpenGraph Thumbnail; If your article does not have a prominent image, this is a visual in Facebook posts.

Twitter Card Type; No need to touch it.

Local SEO Tab

This section is suitable for corporate firms. You can save your company information by filling in properly.

Social Meta Tab

It is sufficient to enter and save your profile links in the social media you use.

Homepage Tab

Homepage Title; You can set your site's title here.

Homepage Meta Description; You can set your site description here.

Homepage Robots Meta; It is convenient to remain default.

Homepage Title for Facebook; You can set the site title that will appear when your site is shared on Facebook and other social media.
