The day after my first day on Steem it

in rant •  7 years ago  (edited)

The first day was quite interesting, I basically came here in the hope to "warn" the Steem community from a YouTube scammer... and I ended up helping him more then anything else.

I was wondering how come, all of a sudden, the guy who is notorious to silence any dissension was so eager to reply to me... Now I know... Indeed, noob me has been had... and so were several friends...

Today, I can just imagine his smile from ear to ear looking at the bonanza we provided him yesterday. A smile that he doesn't even have toward his own wife... the smile of greed... We did witness the smile of lust in the past... but that was when he was surrounded by Trucker Buck or a young teen named Sam.... Rather disturbing... but not surprising...

Now though, it is the day after... it is the "hang over" day after the abuse of the "up vote" and "reply" button... Just like with the abuse of alcohol, it brings quite a few headaches... But I know, WE know the headache is going to go away... I know, WE know that the best is to come... Now that the rules are clearer in a blur of information it is time to roll our sleeves and get to work... Because that's the right thing to do.

The sound of the war drums, the lyrics of our songs might not be the most popular... But in reality all you need to do to win is be +1 versus your enemy.

On this note, I am leaving you the reader, simmer to those thoughts while I head to the fridge and pop a cold one... Cheers to you all, the battle just began.....

From what I can tell a whole lot of other people came to warn about this person too. This is getting interesting. I like your art btw, very nice.

Thank you very much. Yes indeed a lot of people were burned by the individual and want to warn other people before they get burned too.

But you know, sometime, people prefer to learn the hard way. Sad but true...

Everybody's gotta learn sometime. Or so the song goes...

I would call that a great day's work, my friend. Well done. ;o)

Seems like a lot more days are ahead :)

Hey Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrbudy......

Hello sir, how are you doing?
