The idiots among us

I went to bed last night dreaming of genocide. I know it’s a shocking confession, but I cannot truly say I’m sorry. I was quite busy yesterday and I didn’t get to write the post that was on my mind - you must have seen it in the news though, that whole crap about Kylie Jenner, the youngest self-made millionaire blah-blah. Then, around 3 am I read yet another article on the subject and I really couldn’t believe my eyes: this creature has 128 million followers on Instagram, not to mention the 27 million on Twitter, probably other social media, too.

I had to check it out, hoping there might be some mistake, but no: 128 million of our fellow human beings consider that following a stupid little whore on social media is worthy of their time and attention. These people purposefully clicked on the follow button and wake up every single morning to images of this woman’s butt. Probably other butts, too. I’m sorry but if they find inspiration in somebody’s butt, these people must be terribly dumb and a complete waste of valuable resources. The world wouldn’t miss them, they do nothing for the benefit of the human species. All they will ever achieve is procreate other dimwits, to consume even more. The world would be better off without them.
I’m ready to show some mercy for the horny guys out there who need some relief, after all that’s why those whores exist for. Still, the vast majority of those following that sort of superstars are pathetic women living under the illusion that being like the Kardashians is the key to happiness. It’s so weird if you think of it - this Kardashian brat has made a fortune selling the illusion of success to poor girls. It’s not for the elite, not even for the middle-class, the celebrated Kylie Cosmetics are for the girl selling burgers at McDonalds. I’ve just checked if the products are available in my country - they are and most of them are quite cheap. Any school-girl can hope to receive a lipstick or some other Kylie crap for her birthday. Reading about this extraordinary achievement I discovered there’s also clothing. Again, cheap and utterly tasteless. If you were hoping to buy some cool stuff, I must say you’re out of luck, the hoodies are sold out. Imagine paying $20 to wear an item with the picture of a semi-nude Kylie. Or, if you hurry up you might get this tasteful T-shirt for just $17.50.

If they’re sold out it must mean somebody bought this shit. Girls giving their hard-earned money, serving at a fast-food joint is stressful after all, and for what? To sport a rich bitch’s ass on their T-shirt. And attract the attention of some little idiot who’ll go to bed with her while imagining he’s doing one of the Kardashians. God knows…
The Kardashians themselves are only part of the problem. Whores working their way to the top is nothing new. The women who think putting on a crappy lipstick will make them rich and famous are the real problem. I know it’s the media that pushes these so called role models into the limelight, but then if you don’t understand it’s just publicity and marketing with the ultimate goal of getting your money, maybe you’re just a waste of resources.
Bringing up the idea of genocide might seem extreme, but, if you think of it, we’d be doing these people a favor. All the young girls that buy into this trend and want to be like Kylie, they’re nothing but slaves. People who will spend their whole lives chasing the impossible dream of being that rich and famous. You don’t need sticks to make the mules work for all their lives, just dangle a shiny carrot in front of them and they’ll work till they drop. They won’t ever have the many expensive cars Kylie has in the garage or her many walk-in closets, but they’ll be happy to sell their lives for one lousy lipstick.
I wish I could say I pity these people but I don’t. I wish I could say these people can be saved, but I doubt it. I know that, individually, they’re probably not bad people, but as a whole their a plague upon this world. All these 128 million followers will bread untold millions until there will be nothing left on this earth but idiots.

A famous poet in my country once said ‘the mother of idiots is always pregnant’. How right he was!
