My gf had to stop working as the companies closed so she is waiting to receive benefits from the federal government and provincial government which obviously we are eternally grateful to be able to apply for and receive. But yesterday she stopped talking to me after I suggested she shouldn't buy expensive items from Dover Street Market at this time, she told me she knows and got pissed off at it. Fashion and expensive fashion and expensive interior design is her version of addiction/porn and she has fucked away a lot of money on fashion since we moved in together. Her salary is lower than mine so she is paying fewer bills and 43% of the rent but it's frustrating to see her ogle over 220$ shoes when I paid 1750$ rent this month and she paid 0$. & I pay internet and phone bill and good
I know we are waiting on government benefits for her but if she decided to buy these shoes instead of paying me back for rent I'd be so pissed off. & now she is pissed at me for saying to not spend money on that now.
