Rap Challenge 🎙️ Week 8 (I'm donating 100 Whaleshares instead of competing)

So this week I decided to switch it up and not compete in the rap challenge. Instead I sent @rondonson 100 Whaleshares to distribute however he likes to the winners (or winner) of the contest. I didn't listen to any of the beats until yesterday night and the 9 Wonder instrumental (Boy stop fooling yourself) really spoke to me. I started thinking about my insecurities, beliefs and aspirations then before I knew it I had created another song.

These past eight weeks I have been very sureal for me. This platform has allowed me to share not only my music but also my thought and feelings on certain things. Some have been about general topics and others somewhat personal. I wrestle with how I'm presenting myself to total strangers on the internet who I will probably only know virtually. What also stays on my mind is the fact that what we put on the blockchain and the internet in general will be here long after we are gone.

I'm not really sure what my goals are here on steemit. I'm just hoping that if I come from a sincere place it will pay off in the end I guess. At any rate below is my non submission to the rap challenge this week. I won't post it in the official thread. Thanks for reading and listening.
