A small list of revolutionary music -- the second American revolution that is...

Here is a very small list of the best renegades of guerrilla radio there is. These bands woke up and dedicated much of their lives spreading the truth of tyranny.

Rage Against the Machine:
One of the best at what they do. They will tell you straight up how it is. They never believed in hinting at the truth. They literally took the approach of screaming, "WAKEEEEEEE UPPPPPP!!" at the end of one of their songs. Here are a few of my favorites by them:
Wake Up
Literally, the title describes what the song is about.

Freedom
Do we really have "freedom" in America?

Bullet in the Head
About doing what you're told because they tell you to.

System of a Down
Don't get me wrong, not all of their songs are political, but they have some of the best.
BYOB
About our lovely war and deception. "You depend on our protection, still you feed us lies from the tablecloth!"

Prison Song
About how the drug war is used to control us.

Exodus
Just about as straight-forward as Rage Against the Machine... Except even more angry. Not to mention they have one of the best guitarists to live in their band (there may be a little opinion in that statement!). Over half of their songs should make this list, but I can't do that to you guys!
Fuel for the Fire
Another song about patriotism and our lovely war.

Scar Spangled Banner
A nice tribute to our flag of hate.

Pink Floyd
These guys have made some of the saddest music I have ever heard... But what they sing about is a reality.
Another Brick in the Wall
I chose this video because it shows school children going through a meat grinder. A lot of people interpret this song as, "Yeah! School sucks!" But what Pink Floyd was actually trying to express was how schools are really just government indoctrination centers.

Fugazi
These guys fuse punk rock with their own style, creativity, and revolution to make their sound. I can't name a band quite like them.
Merchandise
A look on what capitalism has become.

Dead Kennedys
One of those punk bands who say, "Fuck you!" to the government.
California Uber Alles
1984 coming to life. This video is amazing.

Rolling Stones
You know who they are!
Sympathy for the Devil
About all the evils in the world.

Gimme Shelter
War is just a shot away... But love is just a kiss away.

There is so much more I can put on this list, but I can't make this post 10,000,000 lines long... These songs are just a good mix of my favorites and some of the best!

Awesome list! "The Economy is Suffering... Let It Die" by Anti-Flag is one of my absolute favorite revolution songs (Anti-Flag is probably just one of my favorite modern revolution bands)...
