Scientific name : Daemonorops.Sp
Location : Nort Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia.
Type : Daemonorops Draco Blume.
Character : Frozen, hard, solid, and red.
Benefits : As medicine, cosmetics, and porcelain materials.
Chemical content : Dracoresinotannol, Dracoalban, Residue, Benzoic Acid, Asambenzoilatsetat, Dracohodin, and several types of pigments, such as: Nordracorhodin, and nordracohobin.
This is a plant that is only in three countries in the world, namely, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India. In Indonesia this plant has not been cultivated and still grow wild in the forest. In Indonesia there are only two regions, namely Kalimantan and Sumatra.
This example is young and not productive, the type is rice jernang.
which is the local name heart jernang, because the leaf pucung part reddish brown.
The price of this plant restoration reaches six million rupiah more per kilogram, But unfortunately Indonesian society have not understood the economic value of these crops. Therefore in Indonesia alone this plant has not been cultivated.
On that basis we are trying to cultivate this plant, to improve community economic empowerment. And this is the first result of our harvest.
