I knew about this when I first started a high fruit diet 4 years ago but experience with has taught me to resist eating foods that are in front of me and be ok with returning fruit or giving fruit to nature/compost.
Eat quality fruit. Sweet fully ripe fruit should satisfy you when you get full.
I became Vegan because I wanted to do what I believed what was best for my body. Noticed Immediate benefits in my meditation and I also got rid of regular headaches sometimes migraines that I was having. After I found the style of vegan that got me hooked I opened myself up to all the other reasons why Veganism is so important.
