The Reserve Bank of India sets the criteria RBI Grade B Eligibility. Aspirants of the Officer cadre exam have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to appear for the exam:

RBI Grade B Eligibility – Nationality
According to the RBI Officer Grade B Eligibility set by the RBI, the candidate must either be:
An Indian Citizen
A subject of Nepal/Bhutan
A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle in India permanently.
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African countries of the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India

RBI Grade B Eligibility – Educational Qualifications
Candidates applying for the RBI Grade B exam must note that the RBI has laid down several educational criteria for its recruitment process. Candidates must have at least minimum education qualifications, as indicated in the table below from a recognized university board.
As per the RBI Grade B Officer eligibility decided by the RBI, those who are awaiting the final results of the prescribed educational qualification cannot apply for any of the posts.
