Had a remote film watching with @dayleeo yesterday for ready player one, it was the usual Spielberg stuff, friendly and accessible, lots of flash back reminders and great music — future facing VR living inside a reality kinda film, it was great for a sunday afternoon film and we both were debating and remarking on it as we watched it.
it’s great to be able to use open source audio codecs so freely (opus) to be able to communicate to someone on the other side of the planet so easily — we really have come a long way with the ability to connect, it’s a shame we can’t so freely communicate together even thou we are so connected! ;)
On the flip side of the coin (virtual or ingame) one of my new favourite twitch streamers just won $70k from just one game of fortnite because of mr beast — it was crazy, life changing in some ways even — especially knowing courage, I’m sure he will use it in the right way and we will see him move up massively in the streaming and gaming ranks, I wonder if they will reform the old team? :)
I predict a BUNCH of scrimming on the horizon for him and the clan to be announced soon, be interesting to see where that goes actually :)
