Every morning I woke up feeling excited for the day to come.. I got ready, ate something and made my way to school. When I got there I would always be the first one out of all the ‘gang’ . I would wait a minute or 10 and my friends would start arriving at our bench we had where no one else would sit just us.
When we were all there we would either take selfies or do what every pre-teen would do. One friend would always bring a bag full of food to share out between the ‘gang’ and we would make jokes of one another and talk for over an hour, then we made our way to class. When we got to class the teacher would always tell one of us off for either not wearing the right uniform, using our phones in class or being to load, and that’s when we always got told “detention”😒. We would do registration and make our way to break. Every break the canteen was open so one for us bought the rest food and drinks and then we would sit by the trees playing load music on the speaker. But often we would get told off.
After break was second & third lesson and we would always be 5 or more minutes late which we thought was early but obviously not.. someone always made an excuse like ‘one of us were hurt’ or ‘we didn’t hear the bell’ but those excuses never worked so we would get another detention. Now lunch..... at lunch we would get told to go to detention but one never went so that’s when.... after school detention was named!! We would always answer back and make excuses but they never worked 👀 if none of us had a detention we would all go to the fields and meet up with our other friends and listen to music but on rainy days we would sit in the hallways and get told off for playing music indoors.
Lunch over and it would be Fourth & fifth lesson. Because some of us never listened to what the teachers would teach they would always say “wha” when they were asked a question, and always copy the person beside when we had to do work but honestly we had no idea what we were doing. Between the lessons all of us would go to the toilets and tidy ourselves up and be late for class again and our excuse would be “we got lost” even though we’d been in the school for a year.
End of the day would always be the best part of the day... we would finish school at 3:15 and got home at 5:00. When we would get home our parents would always ask “where were you?” And we said the truth “walking down from school” but they never believed that because it only take 5 minutes to get home from school but honestly the reason we took that long was because as soon as we got out of school we’d start walking like snails jamming out the music but we never realised what the time was until we got home. Every day we walked down from school we’d always see something interesting like free pizza leaflets or our other friends nearby and that would take ages, honestly!! And that repeated on and on and on .....💁😆
