People as a whole are rather interesting. It's common for people to go and pull out all the stops when they want to impress someone. They will dress up, change the way they speak, and even avoid anything that might show their weaknesses.
We try to show people what we think they want to see. Yet people tend to get into trouble when they stop being themselves, because then they believe that they have to keep up their “act” instead of just being who they really are.
People just want to be able to like someone based on their true nature. Without having to try and weaving through all the fakeness.
Sometimes our first impression is not the truest reflection of a person, though. We want to believe that it is, but many times what you see in the beginning ends up not being what reality actually is.
Everyone just needs to know that we are liked on who we really are, not what we make up.
