Rebelde (2022 TV series)

Rebelde (English: Rebel) is a Mexican reboot teenage drama television series styled as REBƎLDE, based on the Mexican televolla of the same name (remake of the Argentine telenovela Rebelde Vay) directed by Santiago Lemon. The series premiered on January 5, 2022, on Netflix.

Production

Production began in Mexico City in March 2021. In May 2021, actor Sergio Mayer apologized to his cast and followers after his controversial remarks in which he admitted that he hated the RBD band, a project in which he was involved.

Rebound Season 2: Has It Been Confirmed?

After a long absence, Rebelde returns to the halls of this historic school with a new group of students eager to make a name for themselves on the Music Excellence program. And, of course, the restoration includes one of the original founding cast members of RBD: Colucci. It will be difficult, though, with the return of La Logia.

However, even if the show is just a short series, there seems to be a strong possibility of another season in view of the way it ended. Netflix could consider a three-season race for the return of Rebelde, as the original series did. But it's still in the air until Netflix moves on.

Oh, and if you haven't seen him, in Season 1's mid-credits sequel, Luca tells his father he has another son. No matter how much time we spend with Colucci's, we can be sure that they will never be the same.
