Ensalada cocida con remolacha/ Salad cooked with beetroot

Hola amigos de esta genial plataforma hoy les contare de una receta que es muy nutritiva y rendidora; la ensalada cocida de remolacha.

Leyendo en Internet, me di cuenta que esta receta es muy popular en Europa, y que es un plato que sirve de entrada y generalmente lo acompañan con un vodka.

Ingredientes para 6 porciones:

  • 2 Remolachas grandes.
  • 2 Zanahorias medianas.
  • 4 Papas medianas.
  • 1 Cebolla mediana.
  • 1 Ramita de cilantro.
  • 1 cucharada de aceite de oliva.
  • 2 o 3 Cucharadas de mayonesa (depende de su gusto, si lo prefiere puede no colocar)
  • Sal al gusto

Preparación:

Lo primero y mas importante, debemos colocar las remolachas, zanahorias y papas, en una olla con suficiente agua y poner a hervir hasta que todo este tierno, este procedimiento suele tardar entre 15 o 20 minutos.
Se retira del fuego, cuela y se deja reposar para luego proceder a pelar y cortar en cuadros pequeños, los colocamos en bol y reservamos.
Tomamos la cebolla y el cilantro y picamos en trozos pequeños y los añadimos al bol, agregamos el aceite, sal y mayonesa, mezclamos bien y servimos, puedes comerla sola o acompañada con pan tostado, es muy buena esta combinación!

Remove from the fire, strain and let it rest and then proceed to peel and cut into small squares, place them in a bowl and reserve.
Take the onion and cilantro and chop into small pieces and add them to the bowl, add the oil, salt and mayonnaise, mix well and serve, you can eat it alone or accompanied with toast, this combination is very good!
