chicken penyet is one of the typical Indonesian food, this food is made from chicken base, and usually served with white rice plus some fresh vegetables, and spicy sauce makes this food special.

here I will write or want to share some knowledge about how to make chicken penyet.

ingredients that must be prepared to make chicken penyet:

• 1 Fresh chicken Cut into 4-6 parts, then wash thoroughly then drain.
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 cm ginger
• a little galangal
• Enough water
• 1/2 kg of cooking oil

ingredients for Finely spiced :

• 3 cloves of garlic
• 4 cloves of red onion
• 8 pieces of cayenne pepper
• 4 pieces of red chili
• a bit of turmeric
• a little salt and sugar

How to cook chicken penyet :

first puree the finely ground spices that have been prepared by diuleg so that there is a distinctive taste and,
clean water input into the pot to taste then input the spices that have been mashed earlier and then enter the chicken meat that has been cut into several parts.
then Cook with medium fire and cover the pot to make the chicken quickly ripe.
if it is mature let stand for 15min,
then fry until yellow brown.
Once cooked lift and then drain.
