Sardines with Misua Recipe A sardines (or Mackerel) in tomato sauce into a simple but flavorful soup dish.Misua are thin flour noodles that are usually added to soups.Ginisang sardinas has always been my go-to recipe when I am pressed for time and need a meal that’s fast and quick.
Sardines with Misua Recipe A sardines (or Mackerel) in tomato sauce into a simple but flavorful soup dish.Misua are thin flour noodles that are usually added to soups.
INGREDIENTS
1 can small sardines
2 cloves garlic peeled and minced
1 medium onion peeled and chopped
2 ounces misua noodles
1 medium roma tomato chopped
2 cups water
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp vegetable oil
salt and peeper to taste
1 piece squash peeled and chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat a cooking pot and pour-in oil.
When the oil is hot enough, sauté garlic and onions.
Add the sardines including the sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
Put-in fish sauce and ground black pepper then stir.
Add water and let boil.Add water and let boil.
Put-in the misua , squash and cook for 3 to 5 minutes under medium heat.
Turn-off the heat and transfer to a serving bowl.
Garnish with toasted garlic .Serve hot. Share and enjoy !
