Peking Duck and Kung Pao Shrimp With Cashew be an option @Cook-It-Up this time,please enjoy cooking with me....
Peking Duck
Ingredients
- 1 Duck weighing 1.5 kg
- 1/2 Cucumber
- 3 Spring Onions
sauce
- 1 small Taoco can
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- Vegetable oil
Making Steps:
- Clean and dry Duck do not forget to seasoning first with pepper and salt to taste, store in refrigerator overnight.
- Cut into strips of Cucumber and Spring Onion
- Preheat oven to 200 degree, roast Duck for 1 1/4 hours until Duck is dark brown and crisp.
- Peel the Duck skin and cut into slices of roasted duck size 5 cm
- Sauce: heat the Oil, put Taoco and Sugar, cook for 1-2 minutes into small pan
Serving :
Prepare a serving dish/big plate and then put a pieces of roasted Duck meat, Cucumber slices, Spring Onion slices and Dumpling Skin.How to eat :
Take a piece of spring roll skin, spread it with sauce, a little cucumber, spring onion, duck meat and fold it like spring rolls.And its ready to eatEasy but take a little time to make this dish
Kung Pao Shrimp With Cashew
Ingredients
450 grams Shrimp, peeled
1 Onion, dice
1 Red Paprika , dice
1 Green Paprika , dice
100 grams Fried Cashews
1/2 Ginger, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons Garlic, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons Cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 teaspoon Sugar
Salt and Pepper
Vegetable Oil
Sauce
250 Chicken Stock
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
2 teaspoons Chili Sauce
2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
1 tablespoon of Dry Sherry / Wine
Making steps
- Mix Garlic, Ginger,Cornstarch , Baking Soda, Salt, Pepper, Sugar and cleaned Shrimp , let stand for 15-20 minutes
- Heat the pan with a large fire, insert the Shrimp and cook until it changes color, set aside.
- Saute Onion, Red and Green Paprika for 1 minute, add all Sauce ingredients ,while stirring until sauce thickens, insert shrimp and cashew nuts, stir for 3 minutes, lift and serve on a serving plate.
