Ingredients
1 Glass Sugar
1 Glass Butter
1 1/2 Glasses flour
3 Large Apples
2 tsp Baking Powder
4 Eggs
1/4 small glass Brandy
Method
Beat the butter with the sugar and add the egg yolks.
Continue to beat the mixture whille also adding the brandy, flour and at the end the egg whites in meringue consistency.
Add half the mixture in a buttered tin, pour and layer in the cubed cut apples, (spreading out evenly) and then pour in the rest of the mixture on top.
Sprinkle some chopped up almonds (optional).
Bake in a 350°F oven for 40 minutes. Until the top is has a golden brown colour.
