Apple Blossom
Ingredients
six cups firm baking apples, peeled and cubed
half cup white sugar
quarter cup brown sugar
two teaspoons cinnamon
one package phyllo dough, thawed
Vanilla ice cream
one and half cups butter, dissolved
Instructions:
Stir apples, sugars and cinnamon in a dish.
On a flat surface, layer three pieces of phyllo dough, brushing butter between each layer.
Put a generous amount of apple mixture in center of dough, pull up pastry towards the middle and pinch close.
Do again the process with remaining phyllo dough and apple mixture.
Put on a baking sheet and bake for fifteen to twenty minutes, till browned and crispy.
Offer with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.
