Hello peeps!! Today I'll be bringing you another firm FIRE favourite of mine!!!
Ingredients:
- 10 Chicken Wings
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 1/3 Cup Soya Sauce. Dark or Light. Good Quality!!
- 1/3 Cup Lemon Juice. Fresh Always Beats Bottled but not Necessary
- 4 Tablespoons Tomato Sauce (Ketchup)
- 4 Tablespoons Apricot Jam
- FIRE!!!
Process:
Finely chop or crush the garlic cloves. In a container mix this together with your soya, lemon, tomato sauce and jam making sure you incorporate all the ingredients well. Next, add the chicken wings into a foodsafe plastic bag and drizzle around 6 tablespoons of the sticky sauce over. Close it up, give it a good shake and set the rest of the sauce aside for basting later on.
Now you're ready for the FIRE!!!. Easy as that :):)
I like doing these on a medium heat fire. You don't want to burn them. You just want to get some good caramelization going :):) You'll be holding onto the rest of your basting until the end of the cooking process. A good guide as to when you should baste is once you start noticing the wings start bubbling at the bone. This is when they're cooked, as in safe for human consumption. Now baste them well on both sides, give them a quick flip around and pull them off the fire. Easy as that :). Minimal ingredients and minimal dishes!! Just the way I like it :) These are Sweet, Tangy, Sticky, Garlicky and Oh So Tasty!!
Below you will find a few more pics. I hope you enjoy!!!
