Fried Potatoes

Ingredients
quarter cup shortening
six large potatoes, peeled and cubed
one teaspoon salt
half teaspoon ground black pepper
half teaspoon garlic powder
half teaspoon paprika
PROCEDURE
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Period: 10 minutes
Ready In: 25 minutes
In a large sized cast iron pot, heat shortening over medium-high heat. Put potatoes and cook, mixing occasionally, till potatoes are golden brown. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Serve warm.
