Today I am making snicker doodle cookies and would love to share the recipe with you.
SnickerDoodle cookie recipe
In a medium mixing bowl beat 1/2 cup butter with electric mixer for about 30 sec. Beat in 1 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp baking soda, and 1/4 tsp cream of tartar. When well combined beat in 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla extract. When well incorporated slowly beat in 1 1/2 cups all purpose flower. cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
to make cinnamon sugar mix
2 Tbsp sugar
1tsp cinnamon
mix together well
After dough has chilled for 1 hour form into 1 inch balls
roll balls in cinnamon sugar mix
Bake at 375 for 8-11 min
makes about 2 doz cookies.
