Ca. 30 elderflower screens
3 lemons
1 l of boiling water
A letter citric acid (20 g)
A sweetening agent equivalent to about 400 g of sugar
Possibly. 1 tsp. preservative
Procedure
Cut the coarsest stems of the screens and place the flowers shelf in a large glass, a bowl or a jar.
Press the lemons and pour the juice into the vessel together with the flowers shelf.
Add the citric acid and sweetener.
Pour boiling water over.
Cover the container to withdraw and allow the mixture for 4-5 days in a refrigerator.
After 45 days, you must sieve the mixture, so that you are left with the concentrated juice.
Si if necessary. the concentrated juice a second time by pouring it through a cloth so you sieves small animals, leaves and flowers.
Storage
Add any. preservative and pour the juice on scalded, clean bottles.
Alternatively, you can freeze the concentrate into ice cube trays or small portions. So you can always take it out of the freezer and mix it with water and get a nice cold drink.
