Blueberry Matcha Smoothie

Good Morning Y'all.  I started my day with this antioxidant packed smoothie that only has 190 calories.  For those of you who don't know matcha is just stone ground green tea leaves.  Matcha has many health benefits including being high in antioxidants like EGCG.  Plus it contains caffeine giving me just the boost I need before a morning workout.

Blueberry Matcha Smoothie

  • 1 small banana
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries 
  • 1 cup unsweet vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder

Put all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.  Enjoy!

where can i get this Matcha powders never seen it in any store?

I get it at Central Market, but I'm sure Whole Foods or Trader Joes has it. It is on the same aisle as the regular tea.

Do you know smoothie recipe what contains avocado?

Matcha has literally replaced all of the bad stuff I used to drink before (redbull, rockstar, monster). Can't live without it now! I like jade monk brand for convenience but, this smoothie packs much more nutrition! Here is a list of Matcha health benefits:
