Mark Knight - In The Other Pocket
Oh my god I think I listened to this five times in a row yesterday. It's off Toolroom Records by label boss Mark Knight and is a sequel to his song from two years ago In The Pocket. Sounds very similar at times. It'd be great to see him play these two back to back in a set! But you gotta be in on the joke to appreciate the song selection ;). A little disappointed in myself that I haven't caught one of his sets yet.
Both have energy at the highest level, but I really dig the pan-flute kind of sound he incorporates into "In The Other Pocket". Creates that Amazonian rainforest sentiment and makes for a wild time. That on top of the muffled vocal samples is fucking gold. Hope you enjoy!
