This is one of the best song about a prodigal son/daughter which gone into the bad path and ignores his/her parents so he/she could do what ever he/she wants in her life.
Not knowing that he/she has done things that are not suppose to be done by a good son/daughter. And time gone by and he/she realized that he/she has done wrong and then get back to his/her parents to asked for forgiveness.
Each stanza defines the chronological order and you will realized that it is more like a story. A story which can happen in reality.
What i like about this song is that it has been translated and sang my many great artist around the globe. As for this singer Gary Valenciano, he sings it really nice and nice interpretation and emotional feelings makes it more likely to be touched.
This song has been passed by generation to generation. Two thumbs up for this song.
