How creative! Architect, Michael Bricker, has developed methods for re-purposing items from abandoned sports arenas into pretty, useful objects. Through his nonprofit, People for Urban Progress, he converted the Indianapolis RCA Dome fabric into a wallet/purse line that quickly became popular beyond Indiana. He has also up-cycled things into canopies and bus stops for communities.
This is environmentalism, art and community activism all rolled into one.
