We at @heyhaveyamet and the @steemterminal are ready to step further out of our comfort zone and celebrate our first six months here on the blockchain by starting up a special project! We are starting a monthly delegation contest to help three lucky new Steemians EVERY month.
On a daily basis @brittandjosie, @thekittygirl, @jamerussell, @brisby, @derekrichardon, and myself, @xcountytravelers are faced with many new Steemians who are just starting out and in need of delegation and education. We are able, with the help of the Steem Terminal's crew @thekittygirl, @wesphilbin, and @medro-martin, to teach all who enter the Terminal. However, we are not able to provide all of them with delegation, but we can help 36 of them a year!
For any type of a race, you always have to have a sign-up period! So we will will be taking names of those who wish to receive a month long delegation from @heyhaveyamet and @steemterminal, then you will need to register via the comments in this post or contacting us in the Steem Terminal Discord Server:
REQUIREMENTS
A reputation of 53 or lower.*
Six months or lower in account age.*
Less than 100 SP (owned not received delegation).
AND
No history of blacklist or plagiarism.
*This is looked at on a case by case basis.
RULES
Each month is a first-of-month to last-of-month time period.
Registering will take place the time prior to the First of each month.
We will be basing our calculations on the change in the Raw Reputation (found in the steemd website) x the change in number of posts. This will give us the Redfish Rally Reputation which will be what we base the winning decisions to be.

Personally, I think it is becoming harder and harder to find promising new users. On Friday, i went through your curation posts of the entire week. it was sad to see how 9/10 people never got further than the intro post...
I don't have a lot of delegatees these days, simply because they either don't get started, or give up after one or two posts... :0(

It really is frustrating. Since I have been doing a spreadsheet of all the people we have introduced and more than half of them never get past that first post. So we are sad about this, but hopefully we can do what we can to help them stay encouraged.
