In terms of European classification, it is ranked 42nd at the level of European teams, according to the classification of the European Football Association, based on the results it achieved in European competitions in the last five years.[3]
Domestically, Liverpool is the second most English club to win the league title with 19 titles, behind Manchester United by one title, who won the league title 20 times.
