I am aware of exaggerated claims and the so-called science associated with yoga. Yoga can reduce stress, cope with pain, make you more flexible.
But in essence it is a spiritual thing, and science and soul often go in different directions. So when I hear that Boyer is leaving science alone and the Eastern religions refer to the life force of man, energy centers resembling a wheel, that is to say chakras.
Will he show us a bunch of nerves to explain the congestion or vibrations of the third eye? Or will a hip-opening yoga pose say that the sacral chakras, which are derailed, will snap into place and thus improve our emotional state?
Not like that. It doesn't make any scientific inferences, but it merely combines the points.
