THE BRITISH E.U. REFERENDUM

in referendum •  8 years ago

THIS REFERENDUM NEEDS A MESSAGE, AND I BELIEVE TENNYSON SAID IT BEST...
THO' MUCH IS TAKEN, MUCH ABIDES; AND THOUGH WE ARE NOT THAT STRENGTH WHICH IN OLD DAYS MOVED EARTH AND HEAVEN; THAT WHICH WE ARE WE ARE; ONE EQUAL TEMPER OF HEROIC HEARTS, MADE WEAK BY TIME AND FATE, BUT STRONG IN WILL TO STRIVE, TO SEEK, TO FIND AND NOT TO YIELD.

THIS NATION IN THIS TIME DOESN'T UNDERSTAND OR GRASP THE GREATNESS THAT THIS COUNTRY ONCE HELD.
COUNTRIES HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN ENGLAND, IT'S BEEN A THORN IN ALLTHERE SIDES.
OUR PAST HAS MADE THAT AND IT SHOWED THE STRENGTH WE HAD AND THE RESPECT WE GAINED AS A NATION.

OUR PAST HAS OFTEN HURT US, IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT WE WERE WEAK WILLED OR POSSESSED BY OUR PAST... IT MEANS WHAT IT MEANS...... WE'VE DONE IT BEFORE AND WE CAN DO IT AGAIN.
