"An appeal to pity ( also called argumentum ad misericordiam, the sob story , or the Galileo argument) is a fallacy in which someone tries to win support for an argument or idea by exploiting his or her opponents feelings of pity or guilt. It is a specific appeal to motion.

I am somehow adrift with a mind boggling question, is it really a necessity to pour out all your thoughts and sentiments on any social form of technology just to perk your ego and deflate someones?
With the massive boomed of tech, everything's possible under the sun...almost everything we see around are just a modernization of old technology. The impact of modern technology nowadays is unmeasurable. We use technology in our modern lives in different ways and sometimes the way we implement it causes more harm than good.
Why do we have to necessarily confront, chastise, reprimand, air-out whatever ill feelings we've got unto others others through fb,instagram, twitter and the likes?
The joke's on us apparently...
Making an advertisement will surely encourage a flock of followers...yet, a few good ones will just be deemed as good disciples. Some will follow to enrage or intimidate, simply adding insult to the injury or worst, to add fuel to the fire.
We are entitled to our own privacy...it's a one particular right that we have to treasure. Ego is not measured through all the likes and hearts we earn for every details that we are posting, and for every #ootd #atm #tgif dillemma's we've got. Surely, it enrage us if a there are nosy "fans" who are making nasty remarks which are not of our liking. Wake up, stop blaming them or somebody in particular, 'coz you ask for it. Mr. Z did purposefully built fb to good purpose not to destroy you or others.
A penny for your thoughts...
Better think twice even thrice, before you post. Appeal to pity will not work at all times..and will not make any difference.
Gracias to @yansel4lyf and @iwrite for the whole steemit mentorship. To God be all the glory!
