In the news: MORE damning evidence that this regime must be DRIVEN OUT. And more reasons to donate to Refuse Fascism, the organization dedicated to building a movement to do just that.

1. The Supreme Court, already stacked with a pro-fascist majority, allowed the Trump/Pence Regime’s ban on trans people in the military to go into effect.
   This cleared the way for the ban to take effect while lower courts hear additional arguments, and likely previews that the Court will uphold the ban.
   This is part of a whole package of dehumanizing LGBTQ people and imposing a Handmaids Tale vision of society on women.

Remember:

The Trump/Pence Regime put Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh — both vetted by Christian fundamentalists whose core issue is overturning Roe v. Wade — on the Supreme Court.

Trump imposed a “Global Gag Rule,” denying funds to NGOs that perform or even refer women to abortion services. This cut $7 billion from care related to HIV, malaria, Zika, and maternal and child health and will cause an estimated 130,000+ deaths.

A dozen cabinet members attend weekly fundamentalist Biblical literalist study classes hosted by Pence on Capitol Hill that teach that women with children should not work outside the home and homosexuality is a sin.

1. The ACLU reports that “there could be thousands more than the 2,737 [immigrant] children [in detention] that the Trump administration had previously reported. Because the government failed to track all the families it tore apart.” And that “Recently, we learned that the Trump administration wanted to specifically target parents for prosecution, hoping that the horror of family separation would deter immigration. Some officials even suggested denying the separated children's legal right to a full asylum hearing.”

Where courts have ruled that such actions are unconstitutional, the regime has found ways to do end runs around those rulings, continuing to torture children in “ICE box” prisons while using them as bait to seize and deport their sponsors.

Refuse Fascism says in the Call to Action:

“Through an unrelenting barrage of daily outrages and twitter outbursts, the Trump/Pence regime is radically remaking society – step by step hammering into place a vicious American fascism.
This is not insult or exaggeration, it is what they are doing.
Therefore, WE RESOLVE that nothing short of removing this whole illegitimate regime from power will stop this nightmare.
And, “There is a way to do this. To do so, we must cast aside illusions and self-delusions.”
