Are you having a wonderful day today? Or are you struggling with bad feelings? Take a look at the following Bible verse from Zephaniah 3 (in the Old Testament).
The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
What does this speak about? It speaks about a God who is near to you, a God who sees you. Isn't it amazing to think about the fact that God doesn't just see the world from above with lots of small ants walking around. No, instead he sees you! He walks next to you! He is near to you! He loves you. He wants to be near to you. He rejoices in you and with you. Have you experienced something good today? He is happy together with you! He wants you to have a great time.
But, do you also see the fact that he can quiet you with his love! He can amaze you so much that you cannot even speak. Have you ever been in love and felt like singing, even though you might not be a singer. God can rejoice over you with his love in the very same way. He has those feelings about you!
You are not a coincidence. You are here on purpose, and you are Gods' creation and he looks at you and rejoices in you and with you!
