Because love hurts
Intimacy is a big deal with me
And having a fragile heart doesn't help
So I kept my distance
And as best as possible
Made less-risky friends
Till I met her
Love at first sight is resevered for hopeless romantics
Never knew this could happen to me
I guess I compromised
Cos I saw me in her
And regardless of all my flaws
I'll pick me over anyone else
Maybe that's why my heart chose her
It must have assumed I was ready
That it has found a new home
Right or wrong, time will tell
In the meantime
This girl I met
Stole my heart incidentally
And though she posseses all my flaws
I love her with all her imperfections.
